Junior Science

Three stories, originally commissioned by BBC Radio 4 and broadcast / published to coincide with the author’s residency at the Science Museum.

Consisting of:

The Answering Machine – an early, American answering machine is introduced into an ordinary British household in the 1960s, with tragic consequences.

Back to School – a boy returns to school a day early and hears strange goings-on in the science block.

Zero Gravity – a boy throws a ball up into the air in his back garden, discovers a pocket of zero gravity and sets about constructing a shed-cum-space station in it.
